1,667 smartphones seized at Shahjalal
A total of 1,667 smartphones worth around Taka seven crore have been in cargo area at Hazarat Shahjalal International Airport.
Dhaka Customs House Assistant Commissioner Kamrul Hasan on Tuesday told banglanews that they seized the haulage on Sunday.
He said some 99 i-phone 5, 77 i-phone 5X, 70 Galaxy S4, 200 htc and numbers of Blackberry, Sony Xperia and Nokia Lumia were seized by the customs authority from a haulage by Shah Shafi associates.
The Hong Kong based export-import enterprise brought the mobile-phones in the name of computer accessories.
